About Us
Suku restaurant is a passion project of two friends Kiran Rao and Santosh
Sangma. Both professional hoteliers who met in Maldives luxury resort.
Kiran who has 22 years of service and administration knowledge returned
to India to create something of his own. An Enterprenuer at heart and his
excellent people skills positions him best as heart of Suku.
Santosh is the culinary expert. In his 15 years in traditional and
contemporary Japanese cuisine he gained experience in top luxury hotels
and resorts from around the world including Four Seasons hotels and
resorts Mumbai, Seychelles and Maldives, Gordon Ramsay restaurant at
St. Regis Doha, Conrad Maldives to name few.
The magic happened when the casual conversation of two friends on future
plans and dream quickly turned into a business plan and venture in opening
this restaurant.
